Kale Siberian Organic Seeds are a reliable choice for gardeners looking for a hardy, productive leafy green that performs well in cool conditions.

Siberian Kale is a hardy and fast-growing variety that originates in Russia. This vigorous variety produces broad, blue-green leaves with lightly ruffled edges and a tender texture. Its mild flavour makes the leaves a versatile addition to salads, soups, sautés, smoothies, and other everyday recipes.

Siberian Kale thrives in cool spring and fall weather and can tolerate light frost. In fact, exposure to cooler temperatures can help bring out a sweeter flavour in the leaves. Harvest young leaves for tender baby greens or allow plants to mature for larger leaves and continued picking throughout the season. The non-heading plants spread 30-40 cm (12-16”) and provide a bountiful crop. Baby leaves can be harvested as soon as 25 days.

Grow Siberian Kale in a sunny garden bed or raised bed with fertile, well-drained soil. Sow throughout the cool season for an ongoing harvest.
